Your First Visit

When you make your booking, either online or by phone, our friendly staff will be in touch to confirm your appointment and answer any questions you might have, such as our location in Norwest and parking directions.

We will email you a patient information and medical history form. You may want to save time by filling this in at home and bringing it with you, or if you prefer, please arrive ten minutes prior to your appointment time to fill it in here.

Once your details and forms are organised, we will bring you through to experience the most comfortable dental chair we could find. If needed, we have blankets, and neck pillows and ceiling-mounted televisions to further relax you.

We Listen to Your Story

We will then have a conversation about you. We will take the time to listen to your concerns about your current and future health, your past dental experiences, goals for your oral health, and any anxieties you might have about your dental treatment.

With your permission, we will then perform a thorough examination. This will include a head, neck and TMJ exam, an oral cancer screening and a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums.

We may take digital x-rays and intraoral photos so you can see what we see. This empowers you to understand what your oral health needs are and participate in your treatment planning.

Planning Together for Dental Wellness

Once we have discussed with you all the information found, we can, together with you, formulate a plan to address your priorities for your long term oral health.

We can also plan ahead to make the experience as relaxing and anxiety-free as possible for you. This might include the use of nitrous oxide (“happy gas”), distraction techniques, or finding strategies for how you can feel more in control during the process.
